Description
This is a beginner level sewing class, but advanced sewist would enjoy it as well because everyone needs linen garments in their closet! We will be learning French Seams as well as working with bias tape. Whim So Doodle is now carrying several linen fabrics as well as cotton linen blends to choose from. The Ma Ma Osa original pattern as well as the 1.5" elastic will be included in the cost of the class.
What to bring:
Your Fabric - XS-S you will need 2 yards of 56" wide linen and M-XL you will need 2.5 yards of 56" Linen Ideally this would be pre laundered to avoid shrinkage or purchase class day *info below

*Ideally, you will go to Whim So Doodle and pick up your fabric ahead of time. There is a 10% discount for students taking classes. Take it home and wash it on a cool gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Iron at home or bring it to the class to iron.
Size Specifications: XS Hip 38” S Hip 40” M Hip 42” L Hip 44” XL Hip 46” Because of the elastic waist, the waist is customizable. The pants are meant to be loose fit. I measure 38" in the hip but would sew the Size S for extra movement. We will be using a pattern from a small business, if you require additional size options, please let us know ahead of time and we will provide another pattern to work from.
